Terms of use

CSVLedger is a free beta tool provided as is; you are responsible for checking converted data before relying on it, and the reconciliation badge is there to help you do that.

The service

CSVLedger provides a browser-based tool that converts PDF bank and credit card statements into spreadsheet and accounting import files. During the beta the service is free and provided "as is", with limits that may change.

Your responsibility

Automated extraction can be wrong. The reconciliation check reduces but does not eliminate the risk of errors. You are responsible for reviewing converted data against the original statement before using it for bookkeeping, tax, lending or any other purpose. Only convert statements you are entitled to process.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent limits at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes.

No warranty and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and CSVLedger is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service or of converted data.

Trademarks

QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc. Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited. Excel is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Other names are trademarks of their owners. CSVLedger is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Paid plans, when offered, will have their own terms presented before purchase.
