Summary

CSVLedger converts bank and credit card statements inside your web browser. We do not receive, store or see your statements or the transactions extracted from them.

Data we do not collect

Data stored on your device

Your browser's localStorage holds the date and the number of pages converted that day, to apply the free beta limit. You can clear it in your browser settings at any time.

Data we collect

Waitlist: if you submit the waitlist form, we store your email address, the plan you selected, the time of signup and the country Cloudflare reports for the request, solely to notify you when paid plans or OCR launch. We do not sell or share it. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Spam protection: to limit abuse of the waitlist form, we keep a one-way hash of the requesting IP address combined with the current hour, plus a counter, for about two hours; then it is deleted. The raw IP address is not stored.

Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first aggregate analytics service, to count page views and see which pages, referrers and countries bring visitors, plus page load speed. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or localStorage and does not fingerprint visitors via IP address, user agent or other data. It does not receive your statement files or their contents; those are still never uploaded.

Hosting: the site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP address and browser user agent to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
