Frequently asked questions

Why is the free limit per browser?

There are no accounts yet, so the limit is counted locally in your browser. It is a soft limit for fair use during the beta.

When do paid plans launch?

There is no date yet. Waitlist members will be told first.

Will unused pages roll over?

This has not been decided for the planned plans. The rules will be published on this page before anything is sold.

Is my bank statement uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is opened and converted by JavaScript running in your browser tab (using Mozilla's open-source pdf.js library). The file is not sent to CSVLedger or anyone else. You can confirm this in your browser's developer tools: the Network tab shows no request containing your file.
